Dog Gone Smart is a state-of-the art canine center dedicated to providing outstanding care and services to dogs and their owners founded by Chris Onthank in 1993.
Chris is a well-known expert in Canine Behavior who knows what dogs like
and what it takes to keep them happy, healthy and safe.
We have been taking care of dogs and their families for generations.

We have spent years living with, studying, training, and understanding dogs.

We want our dogs to live with us as part of our families.

We have found that the more we understand how dogs think and behave,

the more we can live with them in harmony.

All of our programs at Dog Gone Smart are designed from this perspective.

This allows us to offer boarding and day care where dogs can interact with each other safely.

Our understanding of dog behavior and our years of experience in working with dogs have enabled us to create an incredibly successful training program.
